Anger as pensioners home ransacked hours after fatal crash

There's anger in a Co Roscommon parish following the ransacking of the home of a pensioner who died in a crash just hours earlier.

Mary Carroll from Glanduff Kiltoom was seriously injured when the car she was driving struck a wall at Carrowpadden Crossroads just before 5 yesterday evening.

She passed away later at Portiuncula Hospital

Mrs Carroll had no children and her husband was deceased.

Councillor and distant relative Paddy Kilduff says the St John's/Kiltoom area is disgusted that such a crime could happen
