Countdown On For Bambie Thug's Eurovision Performance

They'll be hoping to see Ireland through to the final.

Bambie Thug says nothing will affect their performance at tonight's Eurovision Song Contest. 

The singer-songwriter has come in for criticism for not boycotting the competition over Israel's participation. 

They were also hospitalised over the weekend having apparently eaten some "bad seafood".

Bambie Thug's Eurovision entry 'is different, and I believe different works.'

That's according to the author of 'What's Another Year,' Mountmellick's Mick Lynch, ahead of the first semi-final of this year's contest.

Bambie Thug will represent Ireland in Sweden, with their song, 'Doomsday Blue.'
