Rocket To Be Launched In The Midlands This Week

A Laois village will be declared a "no fly zone" during the launch

A Laois village will be a no-fly zone later this week, due to the launch of a rocket.

The Irish Aviation Authority has filed a Temporary Restricted Area on the flying of aircraft and rockets.

That TRA will be in place to faciliate the launching of a rocket by Esero Ireland during the period the notice is in effect.

It will be in effect on from 9am to 6pm Thursday and Friday, and will cover a lateral radius of one nanometer.
