Westmeath Students Set For Trip On RNLI 'Access For All' Boat

It will come as part of a tour of the station.

Westmeath students will get the chance to experience what it means to be a volunteer for the RNLI today.

St Hilda's Special School in Athlone will be paying a visit to the Lough Ree Station for a tour this morning.

The pupils will get the chance to head out on a trip on the Access For All boat.

The RNLI will also be hosting the Athlone branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association later today.

Crew member in Lough Ree, Paul Kelly, says this is the second time running the event and they are aiming to make it annual:
