Mullingar councillor calls for a playground on Dublin side of town

A Mullingar Fianna Fail Councillor is calling for a playground on the Dublin side of the town.

Cllr Aidan Davitt told this weeks meeting of the town council that the area has the 2 biggest housing estates, Pettiswood and Lakepoint, but has very little facilities for children.

He says there may be access to money through the Community Development Fund.
