Funding in the pipeline for Midland Schools.
Primary schools in the Midlands are set to receive a funding boost in the coming days.
Each facility in the region will get 5,500 euro plus 18.50 per mainstream pupil and 74 euro for every special needs child.
Laois/Offaly TD Fianna Fails Sean Flemming says the money will be used for small scale projects.
He says it must be spent on items of furniture or equipment for educational use.
