O' Gara lets travellers live on his square
An Athlone businessman is angering residents in a wealthy Dublin suburb again.
The Sunday World reports that Noel O' Gara has moved a family of travellers into his two-acre Dartmouth Square in Ranelagh.
Michael Conners was invited to act as caretaker there with his family by Mr O' Gara.
Locals are insisting that the square should not be used as a halting site and the Circuit Court has ordered that the caravan and generator on the site be removed immediately.
O' Gara is fighting the court order, saying he has done nothing wrong.
