An experienced nurse being used to alleviate pressure on Westmeath's Paediatric Diabetes Services has been transferred from another hospital in the midlands.

That's the claim being made by Sinn Féin TD Sorca Clarke, who says the Paediatric Diabetes Nurse has been moved from Regional Hospital Portlaoise for short-term support.

She'll be used until a new appointee is officially released to the service.
